Jasper Conran at midday in Somerset explored 1960s gamine types and the call of the wild! Mod-style monochrome dresses and a black dress with a collar of ostrich feathers were amongst my favourites.

The Topshop Unique show at 3pm was full of dog print pieces and the models hair was turned into ears!! Giving them the appearance of fun Mikey Mouse type cartoon characters. Expect lots of faux fur and spots for A/W 11.

The Osman collection at 4pm was inspired by Artist Catherine Yass’s lightbox series. We’ll be thankful for fur sleeves on black gowns next A/W if it snows again!

Matthew Williamson at 5pm showed the trend he coined – upperclass boho, expect ethnic print flowy maxi dresses and bright coloured jewels inspired from far flung exotic places. Take me there!!!

Vivienne Westwood red Label at 6pm was the Highlight of the Day. Lot’s of celebrities, champagne, crazy mix of prints, strips and colour, active resistance politics to save our resources, gold leaves sprayed onto faces and birds nests in hair!

Vivienne Westwood LFW AW 2011Richard Nicoll at 7pm was all about comfort. He referenced the 20’s drop-waisted silhouettes in an effort to avoid emphasis on the waist.

Temperley at 8pm in the British Mueseum was simple and beautiful. We met the beautiful Jameela Jamil there wearing cobalt blue and British pumps.
